The entire remix project proved to be fascinating, entertaining (at times) and beneficial. I definitely had a few specific projects that especially jumped out at me. Tierney Kain's project was one of my favorites because it was original and very funny! Being an animal lover myself, the topic was interesting to me and pulled at my heartstrings to see the poor animals' pain! :) Tierney was witty in her work and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another project that I enjoyed was Kerri Zuiker's. Her project was like a photo album, with sticky notes to describe specific moments in the narrator's life. It was a smart idea, and the audience really got to know the narrator (Jo) through her letters--we got to see her relationship with Andie, how she felt about certain things (about her mother, how she cooks, park trips), and through her letters, the audience had an up close view of her personal life. I loved the way the project was designed, by clicking on certain pictures to read the letter behind them. Altogether, I thought that Kerri did a very good job at designing her project!

Virginia Dawson's remix project was another interesting and original idea. It acted as an advertisement for a new neighborhood (house plans, recreation, school zones, etc). Virginia included pictures and little snippets of information. The advertisement presents the community as a privileged and advantageous location to live. It offers not only a house, but a home and lifestyle. Virginia's use of language is very appropriate for the advertisement and it flowed very well.

There were many many other remix projects that I enjoyed! But too many to continue to write about. The project was very fun and I enjoyed all of the freedom we had to make whatever we wanted.
